...since my last post, apparently. Huh. I'm sorry to say I had no idea. I've had news, mostly events. I haven't had a new release since the fourth Archangel book, but book five is in the works. I'm also working on book five of the Gargoyle Masters series. So, here's some honesty: I don't know when my next book will be out. I, like most people I know, am barely making it financially. And it's not just due to low book sales. I've actually had a pretty good year at in-person events. I've met a lot of great people and put my books into a lot of new hands (YAY!). But every single event costs money to attend in more than one way and its rare that I actually make a profit.
Currently, I have a full-time job and a part-time job aside from my writing. Yes, that means my writing time is limited, but what's really keeping my muse quiet is knowing a finished manuscript will languish in my files until I have the money for editing. I already have book covers purchased for the last two Gargoyle Masters books. And OMG they're GEORGEOUS! It's killing me to not share them. But I want them to be a surprise closer to an actual release date. For now, I might share a few teasers here and there once I get closer to completion.
I apologize for the delay, sincerely. If I ever remember to buy a lottery ticket, maybe I'll win and can pay for everything I'd like to get published (it's a LOT). But until then, please bear with me. I'm doing what I can and will at least get the books finished.
